The Body Brothers return to RTÉjr for Spring 2023
Get rid of those winter blues and put on some dancing shoes because Body Brothers, RTÉjr’s hilarious home-produced children’s science entertainment show, is back for a brand new season!
Body Brothers stars Cormac Mohally and Cian Kinsella, aka Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists The Lords of Strut, are back as the dance-mad brothers, alongside comedian and presenter Laura O’Mahony as their inventor friend Auntie B.
In each episode, Cormac and Cian want to literally make a song and dance about how something works. There’s just one catch: they need ideas! But fear not, Auntie B is on hand with a workshop packed with gadgets and machines and just about everything she needs to give them the inspiration they need!
In this third season of the show, the theme is “inventions”. So viewers both young and old can expect to find out how a host of everyday items, from the bicycle to the toilet, were invented. Among the other inventions to be featured are roller skates, tractors, popcorn, torches and telescopes!
Mainly filmed in studio in Ballybunion, County Kerry, the brothers also travel to different locations to try out some inventions for themselves. Get ready to see them drone racing, welly throwing, penny farthing riding and telescope hunting at Cork’s Blackrock Observatory. They even find time to come up with some hilarious inventions of their own!
A lot can happen in each fun-packed show, but it always ends with a dance!
The new season starts on February 27th on RTÉjr Weekdays @ 16.30 and RTÉ 2 on Weekdays @ 10.00
