Muireann catches another lively on-street performance from Therese Mc Inerney on fiddle, brothers Brian and Keith O’Loughlin on flute and banjo and Ger Naughton on bouzouki.
There’s plenty more music and dancing in Mullingar in the form of Alan Finn on fiddle, Seán Kelliher on guitar, Fionn O’Hanlon on bouziki and this year’s senior All-Ireland accordion champion, Keelan McGrath, on button accordion. They’re joined by another All-Ireland winner Conor Fennell who is this year’s under 18 sean-nós dance champion and his sister Emma to dance a step.
Keeping on the competitions theme, the 2022 All-Ireland Senior Fiddle champion Sarah O’Gorman plays a tune for John, in between rehearsals with the Taobh na Mara céilí band.
Back at the Fleadh Campsite, the programme ends with a lively set of tunes from James Hogan on box, Ciara McKeogh on fiddle, Brian Deegan on flute, Adrian Brady on piano and Maria Hartnett on the banjo.
