Celebrating eighty years of the Irish-language journal Comhar.

Tá an iris Comhar ceithre scór bliain ar an bhfód i mbliana.  Tá tábhacht nach beag le Comhar mar iris liteartha agus iriseoireachta, agus sa chlár seo roghnóidh an scríbhneoir agus an drámadóir Eoin McEvoy cuid den saothar is tábhachtaí a foilsíodh ar leathanaigh Comhar agus déanfaidh buíon aisteoirí cur i láthair drámatúil orthu.  Beidh meascán de shaothar liteartha, léirmheasanna géara, eagarfhocail agus ráitis chonspóideacha le cloisteáil againn, á gcur inár láthair ag na haisteoirí Diarmuid de Faoite, Bríd Ní Ghruagáin, Donncha Crowley agus Deirdre Learmont, le tráchtaireacht ó Eoin McEvoy. The renowned monthly Irish-language journal Comhar is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year and in this programme actors bring to life some of the most important contributions that were published on its pages.   Comhar has provided a vital platform for creative writers, journalists, critics and commentators and has helped launch the careers of major Irish-language writers over eight decades. In this programme writer and playwright Eoin McEvoy selects gems from the archive, including poetry, reviews, editorials and opinion pieces which sparked controversy.  Actors Diarmuid de Faoite, Bríd Ní Ghruagáin, Donncha Crowley and Deirdre Learmont bring to life those pieces for us, with Eoin McEvoy weaving together the extracts. The programme is produced by Tristan Rosenstock.
