This year Storyland – devised to develop and showcase great local drama – comes to RTÉ television for the first time with three new single dramas. There was an unprecedented
number of Storyland applications this year, with RTÉ working with Screen Ireland in partnerships and collaborations to grow the Irish drama sector.
The final drama in the series is Every Five Miles by Sinéad Collopy, a powerful story about people trafficking in Ireland.
Every Five Miles is written by Sinéad Collopy, produced by Colmán Mac Cionnaith of Vico Films, directed by Vincent Lambe (who received an Oscar nomination for his drama Detainment about the Jamie Bulger killers), and starring Danielle Galligan and Sameer Baloch.
