Today, as part of the week of special editions of the programme, the programme theme is Irish without borders. They will be broadcasting from Fethard and will be focused on South Tipperary, an area that was recognised as a breac-Ghaeltacht up until the mid fifties. The community here is very aware of their valuable heritage, and have a special interest in preserving the stories and traditions associated with the Irish language there.
