The second episode features The Coronas, Mick Flannery & Susan O’Neil, Gabrielle Aplin and The Scratch. 

RnB singer songwriter and singer Erica-Cody joins forces with Danny O’Reilly, lead singer with The Coronas to host The Main Stage a new music show for Friday nights on RTÉ One featuring live studio performances, interviews and general craic, celebrating a feast of Irish artists and unique collaborations from the worlds of Rock, Folk, Trad and RnB. 

The show will be a musical mash up with a modern twist featuring a mix of legendary acts as well as some of the hottest new talent on the Irish music scene. 

The Scratch opens the show with their song ‘Seanchai’ from their album ‘Coundn’t Give A Rats’. The Scratch is a four-piece acoustic band merging traditional and metal music genres. Later in the show they perform their latest single ‘Another Round’.

Next on The Main Stage, we see The Coronas’ collaboration with acclaimed English singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin in 2021 on a beautiful new duet titled ‘Lost In The Thick Of It’.

Mick Flannery & Susan O’Neil perform their stunning duet ‘Love You Like I Love You’  from their album ‘In The Game’. Later in the programme they perform another incredible stunning single ‘Truth To Be Kind’.

Dublin based band The Coronas perform their new single Strive and later close the show with their hit single ‘Just Like That’.

Singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin returns to The Main stage with her new single ‘Call Me’ As well as mixing artfully articulated introspective emotions with rich luminous melody, the song sees Gabrielle blending an instant synth hook with her signature, emotive piano keys.
