In this series, Séamus Ó Scanláin meets some of the young generation of Irish speakers in the country, and today he is joined by Darren Ó Dubhgáin from Gort an Choirce in Co. Donegal. Darren has a huge interest in singing, sport and music, and he works in weather and continuity for TG4. His roots are in Tory Island, and he has a close connection to the island, a place steeped in tradition. He talks today about the value of working hard to make your way in the world, particularly in the media, and about the opportunities that allow you to do that.
