In this week’s visit to the Session Archives, Dan brings us tracks from Sessions by Havvk (2021), The Frank & Walters (1991), and Roe (2018). Havvk brought us the excellent ‘Levelling’ album in September last year; it’s their second album, and features the singles ‘No Patience’, ‘Automatic’ and ‘Home’.
The Frank & Walters rarely miss a beat (in fact have they ever over the years?) This session was recorded for Dave Fanning in 1991, a year before they released their hugely popular debut album ‘Trains, Boats & Planes’. You’ll also hear a track from Roe’s first visit to Studio 8. This came shortly after her impressive performance at the Eurosonic festival in January of that year.
