There are currently more than 11,000 people living in Direct Provision accommodation in Ireland, many of them are under the age of 18. Over the past nine months, some of those young people and their families filmed their day-to-day lives for this documentary, sharing their thoughts, observations, experiences and hopes for the future.

WHAT IS DIRECT PROVISION:

Direct Provision is the name commonly used to describe the accommodation, food, allowances, and medical services provided to people seeking asylum in Ireland while they await formal decisions about their cases.
