As tensions rise between various factions of the city’s authorities, thousands of festival-goers find themselves sucked into a series of dramatic events surrounding a charismatic and enigmatic figure. Reporters from the rolling news station, WCP News, originally sent to cover the Peace Festival find themselves, instead, giving live coverage to an inexorably unfolding tragedy. The performance features professional actors, supported by a cross-community cast of hundreds, including 700 schoolchildren from 11 local schools. It will air live on the RTÉ Player at 16.30 on Good Friday, followed by an edited version at 22.30 on Easter Sunday on RTÉ One.
