Soak has been in the spotlight from an early age, but this hasn’t hindered her growth as an artist. She won the RTE Choice Music Prize for her 2015 debut album ‘Before We Forgot How To Dream’; she was shortlisted for the same award for 2019’s ‘Grim Town’ album. This session was her first visit to Studio 8 in 2013.
Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, The Devlins spent much of their time recording and touring, predominantly in North America where they found a great deal of success. in 1995 their track ‘Crossing The River’ was included on the Batman Forever’ soundtrack alongside Iggy Pop, U2, Mazzy Star and Seal. This Fanning Session captures the band in their very early stages.
