Tá athrú mór millteach tagtha ar bhaint feamainne le blianta beaga anuas, agus sa chlár seo déanann Treasa Bhreathnach scrúdú ar na hathruithe sin uilig, agus ar thionscal na feamainne sa lá atá inniu ann.  Labhrann sí leis an eolaí Iarfhlaith Ó Conalláin ó Cartron Point Shellfish i gContae an Chláir.  Labhrann Murchadh Ó Cuanaí, bainteoir feamainne, le Treasa ar an gclár freisin faoin earnáil mar atá sí faoi láthair agus roinnt de na dúshláin atá ann do bhainteoirí feamainne, agus beidh agallamh le Pádraic Mac Diarmada, bainisteoir Ionad na Feamainne i Leitir Mealláin, The Seaweed Centre.

Seaweed harvesting has changed a lot in the last few years, and in this programme Treasa Bhreathnach examines some of those changes, and learns about the seaweed industry today.  She speaks to scientist Iarfhlaith Ó Connalláin from Cartron Point Shellfish in Co. Clare.  Murchadh Ó Cuanaí, a seaweed harvester, talks about the industry as it stands today and some of the challenges faced by harvesters, and we’ll hear an interview with Pádraic Mac Diarmada, manager of The Seaweed Centre in Leitir Mealláin, in Conamara.
