Programme Six: Menorca
This week Neven visits Menorca, the second largest of the Balearic islands, located to the east of Mallorca. Local guide Isabel Martín introduces him to the historic city of Cuitadella and Neven eats at slow food restaurant, Tast de Na Silvia, before visiting a dairy farm to see how the island’s famous Mahon cheese is made.
The Cami de Cavalls is a spectacular walking route and bridlepath which follows the coast around the island and Neven is taken there on a horse before cooking his own dishes – Creme Catalan with Almond Brittle, and Mediterranean Puff Pizza.
