Episode 2 – James Vincent McMorrow
In this unique show, James performs the songs that mean the most to him with the RTE Concert Orchestra. He also duets with Gemma Dunleavy, who he describes as one of his favourite vocalists. And he invites Dublin band The Scratch to collaborate with the orchestra on a heavy metal track.
James also chats to Niall about how releasing his first album was a make or break moment and reveals how he dealt with his subsequent success. In a very honest interview James talks about his mental health struggles and he had to find his own way of approaching a career in music.
With one off performances by James and the RTE Concert Orchestra this show promises to be a special night of music and insight in the career of a prolific musician.

Soundtrack to My Life, presented by Niall Breslin, is a new music and chat show for Saturday night’s on RTÉ One.
Each episode will see an Irish artist collaborate with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra to create a unique playlist of songs that mean the most to them and reveal the stories behind their choices.
Niall will welcome Johnny Logan, James Vincent McMorrow and Celine Byrne as his guests over the course of the series. He will sit down with each them as they give insight into who they are, what they do and the music they love.
An evening of unique performances and entertainment is promised as viewers relax and enjoy their weekend with Soundtrack To My Life.
