Today, in the sixth programme featuring historic recordings made in the Aran Islands and Conamara in the late fifties, sixties and seventies by Bairbre Quinn, we’ll hear some of the wonderful variety of music from visitors to the Uí Chonghaile guesthouse in Cill Mhuirbhigh, the house where Bairbre grew up.  The recordings include Fr Giblin and Séamus Murphy, and John Beag Johnny Ó Dioráin singing ‘Lá Fhéil’ Eoin’.  Deirdre Ní Chonghaile presents.
