Tuesday 22nd June marks the Centenary of the opening of the Northern Ireland Parliament by HM King George V. The King’s speech at City Hall Belfast that day was historic for another reason, in that it contained an appeal to the Republican cause to begin talks that would end the War of Independence. To mark the occasion, Morning Ireland will be reporting live from City Hall Belfast that morning.
