Seo clár faisnéise faoin saol i nGaza a rinne Eibhlín Ní Chonghaile agus í ar thuras chuig an gceantar sin leis an gcarthanacht Galway Palestine Children’s Appeal sa bhliain 2012. Sa chlár faighimid léargas ar shaol phobal Ghaza, agus ar na deacrachtaí laethúla a gcaithfidh siad dul i ngleic leo. Cloisfimid freisin faoi na deacrachtaí a bhí ag an ngrúpa a raibh Eibhlín leo agus iad ag iarraidh cógaisí leighis a thabhairt thar teorainn isteach sa cheantar, agus faoi thogra atá idir lámha le páirceanna spraoi a thógáil do pháistí an cheantair.
In 2012, journalist Eibhlín Ní Chonghaile travelled to Gaza with the Galway Palestine Children’s Appeal. In this documentary about her experience there, we see Gaza through the eyes of the group as they travel around, and learn about the daily difficulties of life in the region. We will learn about the intricacies involved in bringing medical supplies across the border from Egypt into Gaza, and we will share in the group’s frustration as they are delayed at the border with perishable medical supplies. We will also hear about the plans afoot to build two badly-needed play areas for children in the region.
