This evening, in the fifth programme in series An Seisiún we get to hear musicians Fergal Moloney (IMLÉ), Emma Ní Fhíoruisce and Enda Reilly put their heads together and work through the night to compose and record three new songs in Irish, with the support of music producer Karl Odlum. The musicians are in studio from 7 pm to 7 am, and in the programmes listeners get to share their experience as they work to put together the songs. Produced and presented by Cian Mac Cárthaigh and Lisa McGeough. Funded by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland with the Television Licence Fee with extra support from Foras na Gaeilge and IMRO. This series was first broadcast in 2018.
