For a small population of just five million, Norway really punches way above her weight on the international music stage. On the eve of Norwegian National Day, we celebrate some of their fabulous traditional music, plus the groundbreaking jazz and contemporary scene, and some perennial favourites. Music from Nils Okland, Tine Thing Helseth, Sidsel Endreson, Karin Krog, Bugge Wesseltoft, and a few new spins on the works of Grieg and Harald Saeverud.
