Series Overview
The Shelter: Animal SOS is a brand new six part series following the work at Ireland’s oldest and largest animal welfare charity.
Since 1840 the DSPCA has engaged in a battle to rescue and rehabilitate Dublin’s sick and injured animals, and our cameras go behind the lines at their facility in the Dublin mountains. Over the course of a year we share the trials and triumphs of a dedicated squad of care-staff, vets, and volunteers as they fight to save the lives of a huge variety of all creatures great and small.
