The Easter Vigil of the Lord’s Resurrection is broadcast live from the Basilica of Our Lady, Queen of Ireland, Knock Shrine, County Mayo, which was last month recognised by Pope Francis as an International Marian & Eucharistic Shrine. The Pope visited Knock Basilica in 2018. The Principal Celebrant is the Very Rev. Richard Gibbons, Rector, with liturgical music, including Ronan McDonagh’s Easter Magnificat and Colin Mawby’s Choral Alleluia, provided by the Schola Cantorum Basilicae, directed by Úna Nolan.
