Our Leaders take their transformations to the catwalk. After being on the Operation Transformation plan for 8 weeks, their health and fitness transformation has well and truly begun. We find out how far they’ve come in this short space of time.

Series Overview:

Presenter Kathryn Thomas is back to spearhead the latest campaign to get the nation moving. Once again, we are encouraging the Irish public to get up, get active and get healthy. Over the course of the series, we’ll be giving the nation the tools they need to get moving, lose weight and feel great.

Returning to set the health and wellness plan for the new leaders is fitness coach Karl Henry; principal clinical psychologist Dr Eddie Murphy; dietitian Aoife Hearne and general practitioner Dr Sumi Dunne.

We can all agree that 2020 has been a year like no other.  Since the arrival of Covid-19 to Ireland at the end February, we are all still trying to find ways of getting and staying healthier in body and mind while living with restrictions.

Diagnosed with an under active thyroid in his early 20’s, Andrew wants 2021 to be the year that he takes control of his health and wellbeing once and for all.

Susuana Komolafe

Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Susuana moved to Ireland with her son and daughter just over 18 years ago.  Adapting to a different culture and lifestyle, her diet changed considerably over the years.  She is very fond of her cups of tea with a biscuit and tends to have chips with her dinner most days.  Exercise is not Susuana’s friend and she really wants to change this.  She loves her curves, but is conscious that in 2021 she needs to adapt a better food and diet plan to improve her long term health.
