It’s a regular Tuesday visit to the Sessions Archive, and tonight Dan brings us a recent session from Bitch Falcon (2020), and another which travels back a little farther from An Emotional Fish (1989).
Bitch Falcon’s debut album ‘Staring At Clocks’ has been short listed for Best Irish Album the forthcoming RTE Choice Music Prize. This session was recorded by the band the week before the album’s release. Back in 1989, there were few bands as exciting as An Emotional Fish. They would go on to bring us three studio albums; the first of which (‘An Emotional Fish’ featuring ‘Celebrate’, Lace Virginia’, and Grey Matter’) came a year after this session, which was recorded for the Dave Fanning show in March of 1989.
