Series 1, Episode Three – Hope
By July 2020, it becomes clear that postponing the trip to Nepal simply won’t be enough and Davy must break the bad news to the lads. They are devastated to have their dream dashed but Davy encourages them to refocus and set their minds to what they can do which is a trip to Kerry organised by Davy – a compromise but as Davy reminds them, 2020 has been all about compromise so the lads need to deal with this hurdle and stay together as a team. They make their way to Kerry to begin a week of activities which will culminate in scaling Ireland’s highest mountain – Carrauntoohil. From the moment they arrive sparks fly within the group as the lads rub each other up the wrong way. Davy has never had to manage a team like this one.
