RTÉ One will broadcast live coverage of the inauguration of the 46th President of the United States Joe Biden in a special RTÉ News programme on Wednesday January 20th from 3.30pm (until 5.40pm).
Presented by Caitriona Perry, the programme and will joined be a host of guests from across Ireland and the United States to provide commentary and analysis as proud Irish American Democrat President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris take their oaths of office.
Due to the Covid19 pandemic President-Elect Biden has urged people to stay at home and watch the inauguration on television, rather than attending in person and with a star-studded line-up in place for the inauguration ceremony, including Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Garth Brooks.
Coverage will also be broadcast on the RTÉ News channel and RTÉ Player.
