Aedín’s featured artist is American soprano Barbara Hendricks, a textbook example of a singer who can truly do it all. She has made more than 80 recordings and in addition to her work as an opera singer, Hendricks has performed jazz and spirituals. In our concert, we hear Boccherini’s evocative String Quartet ‘The Night Music of the Streets of Madrid’, and Suk’s Serenade for Strings, performed by Camerata Janacek under their director Pavel Dolezal.
