About The Young Offenders:

‘The Young Offenders’ series 3 continues where series 2 left off telling the coming of age adventures of loveable rogues Conor & Jock and their mother/guardian Mairead as she tries to keep them on the straight and narrow (Alex Murphy, Chris Walley and Hilary Rose, reprising their roles), with friendship, loyalty, laughter and lots of mischief.  The best friends navigate their awkward teenage years, hatching plans and adventures to help distract from their tough home lives and their inability to stay out of trouble at school, with the new complications of sustaining relationships and the responsibility of a new baby, Star.  With Conor and Jock now expelled from school, we see them in series 3 trying to grasp with the responsibilities of young adults, including developing relationships with an unconventional family unit and learning valuable lessons at every turn.

The comedy series, created by Peter Foott, expands on characters already seen in the smash hit series 1 and 2, as we watch the lads encountering love, loss, peer pressure, and morality, with each episode set in Cork, Ireland.  ‘The Young Offenders’ is foremost a comedy and is packed with laughter, but it’s also tender with lots of heart.
