The Young Offenders series 3 continues where series 2 left off telling the coming of age adventures of loveable rogues Conor & Jock and their mother/guardian Mairead as she tries to keep them on the straight and narrow (Alex Murphy, Chris Walley and Hilary Rose, reprising their roles), with friendship, loyalty, laughter and lots of mischief. The best friends navigate their awkward teenage years, hatching plans and adventures to help distract from their tough home lives and their inability to stay out of trouble at school, with the new complications of sustaining relationships and the responsibility of a new baby, Star. With Conor and Jock now expelled from school, we see them in series 3 trying to grasp with the responsibilities of young adults, including developing relationships with an unconventional family unit and learning valuable lessons at every turn.
The comedy series expands on characters already seen in the smash hit series 1 and 2, as we watch the lads encountering love, loss, peer pressure, and morality, with each episode set in Cork. The Young Offenders is foremost a comedy and is packed with laughter, but it’s also tender with lots of heart.
EPISODE 1:
Conor and Jock join forces with Billy Murphy who has masterminded an amateur heist of luxury televisions, but unexpectedly baby Star becomes involved leading to further chaos but some valuable lessons are learned.
