French Soprano Natalie Dessay sings arias by Mozart, Delibes and Gounod. Our Sunday concert today comes from Auckland, New Zealand and celebrates women in music. We will hear works by Ethel Smyth and Clara Schumann performed by Modi Deng with The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Tianyi Lu. In part two of our concert Gershwin’s An American in Paris as you possibly haven’t heard it before, played by The Mecklenburg Wind Academy with Elisaveta Blumina piano.
