Pining for the Fjords? Well, this Sunday night Vespertine will bring the fjords to you and celebrate Norwegian National Day in the company of Bugge Wesseltoft, Eli Storbakken, Karl Seglem, the classics of Grieg and Harald Saeverud, and many more. So much to explore, from the Yoik traditions of the Sami people, to the plaintive hardanger fiddle sound, to the edgy groundbreaking improvisers such as Eivand Aarset and Trygve Seim, and the Norwegian blues of Sidsel Endresen and Karin Krog. Setting sail at 10pm.
