We jump to February of 2005 this week For The Record. ‘All Is Violent, All Is Bright’ is the second studio album by Wicklow band God Is An Astronaut.
Featuring live favourites like ‘Forever Lost’, ‘Fireflies & Empty Skies’ and ‘Suicide By Star’, it’s the album that saw thinks kick off internationally for the band. Even at this stage of their career the band were drawing larger crowds abroad than they were at home, a trend that continues to this day.
Dan will feature tracks from the album all this week, and welcomes chief song writer Torsten Kinsella to the show on Wednesday night.
