Your One Nikita is back on RTÉ Player as the series continues to follow best mates Nikita and Tanya in this short form comedy animation. In this series the Huns’ saga continues and gets even more massive as your one Nikita and her mates serve up more Dublin dramas and dilemmas! Starring Aoife Dooley, Emmet Kirwan, Jen Hatton and Al Foran.

Episode one Things get permanently real when Nikita finds out how far Tanya will go to be a bride of donor. After they get busy with the fizzy in a bridal shop, Tanya convinces Nikita to get a tattoo. They each pick each other’s designs which ends in Anto getting a bigger proposition than expected!

Themed episodes will drop every month on RTÉ Player.

Key Cast/Characters

Aoife Dooley

Aoife Dooley is an award winning Illustrator, author and comedian from Dublin.

Aoife is best known for her Your One Nikita (formally known as Dublin Hun) Illustrations which chronicle the life of a 22 year old woman called Nikita, best friend Tanya and boyfriend Anto. She published her first book ‘How to be massive’ October 2016 and her second in 2017 ‘How to deal with poxes on a daily basis’ with Gill books. She is released her first Children’s book earlier this year ‘123 Ireland’ which won Specsavers Children’s book of the year at the An Post book awards 2019.

Jen Hatton

A self proclaimed Mocedian! Don’t know what a Mocedian is? It’s like a comedian but without the standup. She is also well known for her sketches on social media (Jen Hatton Sketches) with over 120k followers.

Emmet Kirwan

Emmet Kirwan is an Irish actor, playwright and poet. He is a veteran actor of the Irish stage and his distinctive voice can be heard narrating many Irish documentaries, adverts and television shows. Most recently he appeared in The Donmar Warehouse in Brian Friel’s ‘Aristocrats’. His play ‘Dublin Oldschool’ won the Stewart Parker award and has been performed in ‘The Dorfman’ at The National Theatre London it has recently been made into a feature film, which was on elf the highest grossing Irish films of 2018. He has worked at The Gate Theatre, The Abbey Theatre and has performed with many of Ireland’s leading companies such as Rough Magic, Fishamble and Corn Exchange. He is also known for writing and performing the IFTA award-winning poetry short film ‘Heartbreak’ (2017) and being the writer and star of the Irish television comedy series ‘Sarah and Steve’ (2010).

Al Foran

Al is an impressionist and mimic of extraordinary talent with a Facebook following of over 300K, 87K on twitter & 65K on Instagram, and has regular appearances on TV & Radio.

He has over a hundred separate voices in his arsenal of comedic impressions, but his stand-outs are Conor McGregor, Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci, Mike Tyson, Eddie Murphy, Donald Trump, Roy Keane, Jose Mourinho, Eamon Dunphy and many others who he weaves into situations that stand out for their hilarity and just good laugh out loud fun.
