Anthony, Laura, and children Mark, Sophie and Amber- and dog Bonnie- live in Donaghmede in Dublin. Anthony is a mechanic and Laura is an accountant. They both work full time with Anthony working shifts. The couple juggle their working hours to make the most of the time they have together, valuing family time above all else.
They both earn good salaries, but are puzzled as to where their money is going, and can’t understand why they have to borrow for family holidays.The family love their home and have grand plans to extend and renovate to make even more space to create more memories.
The young couple wonder how they can afford this, while still maintaining their lifestyle and enjoying an annual holiday.
Eoin assesses their finances, spending habits and saving potential to present the family with a plan that might see them heading to the sun every year and also building on their home.
But the dream home won’t come easily. Laura and Anthony are determined to make the plan work but are faced with obstacles along the way that may mean resorting to a Plan B. Will they ever realise their house goals and learn to how be good with money
