Ar an 1 Meitheamh 1919, thug Uachtarán nua-cheaptha na Dála, Éamon de Valera, aghaidh ar Stáit Aontaithe Mheiriceá le tacaíocht a bhailiú do chás na hÉireann.  Inniu, scrúdaíonn an Dr Pádraig McGonagle agus an Dr Úna Ní Bhroiméil ó Choláiste Mhuire Gan Smál i Luimneach an scoilt a bhris amach i measc Ghaeil Mheiriceá ag an am, agus ról cinniúnach fhear Thír Eoghain, Joseph McGarrity.  Is é Dónall Ó Maolfabhail, thar cionn Scun Scan Productions, léiritheoir agus láithreoir na sraithe seo.

On 1 June 1919, the newly-appointed President of the Dáil Éamon de Valera went to the USA to gather support for the Irish cause from the Irish American community there.  Today, Dr. Pádraig McGonagle and Dr Úna Ní Bhroiméil from Mary Immaculate College in Limerick, will discuss the split it brought about in the Irish American community, and the important role of Tyrone man Joseph McGarrity.  Presented and produced by Dónall Ó Maolfabhail, on behalf of Scun Scan Productions.
