Seolfar Scoil Gheimhridh Ghaoth Dobhair beo ar Bladhaire inniu.  Beidh an scoil, a bhfuil ráchairt mhór air, ar siúl i mbliana ó 27 Nollaig go 1 Eanáir, agus beidh FIDIL i measc na ngrúpaí a bheidh páirteach ann i mbliana agus beidh siad sa stiúideo inniu le hÁine Ní Bhreisleáin chun a n-albam úrnua, Decade, a sheoladh.  Is iad Ciarán Ó Maonaigh, Aidan O’Donnell agus Damien McGeehan baill an ghrúpa FIDIL, agus beidh ceol beo uathu ar an gclár seo inniu.  Beidh Conor Byrne agus Cathal Ó Gallchóir ón Scoil Gheimhridh sa stiúideo freisin, agus gach eolas acu dúinn faoi chlár imeachtaí na bliana seo, a mbeidh ceardlanna ceoil, agus coirmeacha le Dervish agus le Julie Fowlis, Zoë Conway, John McIntyre & Éamon Doorley, mar chuid dó. 

Scoil Gheimhridh Ghaoth Dobhair, will be launched live on Bladhaire today.  The school, which is the successor to Scoil Gheimhridh Frankie Kennedy, takes place from 27 December to 1 January, and draws musicians and visitors from far and wide to northwest Donegal every year.  Concerts featuring in the programme of events this year include one with talented Donegal trio FIDIL – Ciarán Ó Maonaigh, Aidan O’Donnell and Damien McGeehan –and they will launch their brand new album, Decade, today on the programme as part of the official launch of the school.  Conor Byrne and Cathal Ó Gallchóir will also be in studio to tell us all about the events planned for this year’s school, which include music workshops with some of the country’s top musicians, and concerts with Dervish and Julie Fowlis, Zoë Conway, John McIntyre & Éamon Doorley, to name but a few.
