BRENDAN GRACE THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES ***FINAL***

Brendan Grace Thanks for the Memories Image Name: Brendan Grace Thanks for the Memories

Brendan Grace passed away while planning the biggest party in town. He had hoped to host a night of nostalgia at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin where he would be joined on stage by his showbiz friends and the Forget-Me-Nots choir. Following his passing, his family and colleagues decided that the show must go on and in the final episode of this emotional series, the concert opens to a sold out house.

After Brendan’s funeral, his wife Eileen and his children met to discuss his bucket list and focus on the things he had left undone and the instructions he had left behind.

Producing the show in the Olympia was top of this list. He had been living for it, planning, producing and dreaming of it. Too much work had been done to see it fall apart.

In the midst of their grief, the Grace family rallied and with the help of Brendan’s showbiz fraternity, together they put on one of the biggest nights in the Irish showbiz calendar. In front of a packed theatre, a choir of 60 and a line up of 19 different artists, BRENDAN GRACE – THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES – THE CONCERT proved to be an evening packed with tears and joy. This final episode in the series documents the build up to that night and proves a fitting farewell to one of Ireland’s most beloved entertainers.

The final episode of Brendan Grace Thanks for the Memories airs on Monday, 14th October at 9.30pm on RTÉ One.
