Series 2 starts 27th September on RTÉ Player

The Doireann Project returns as Doireann Garrihy impersonates a host of Irish celebrities and influencers in this comedy series. The highest rated RTÉ Player Original with over 220,000 streams, Series Two is more ambitious than ever with Doireann playing 15 characters, involving 35 costume changes. Each episode centres around one location, where the craic begins when old Favourites, like Dáithí and Maura, So Sue Me, Pippa and School Gate Mam meet brand new characters.

Six 10-minute episodes will drop exclusively on RTÉ Player. In the lead up to the new series, RTÉ Entertainment website will host exclusive behind-the-scenes videos including ‘Who Said it?’ starring Real Roz Purcell (played by Roz Purcell) and Fake Roz Purcell (played by Doireann) .

Episode One

So Sue Me’s latest venture ‘So Sue Summit’ is THE event to teach you how to become the best bleedin’ influencer around. While Mattress Mix spins the tracks, Maura and Daithi report live from the event for Today, but things go awry when everyone gets busy with the fizzy! Guest starring Mattress Mick as DJ Mattress Mix.

Episode Two

In a bespoke, luxury, beauty salon with a three-month long waiting list, receptionist and Pippa stan Claudia gets an unexpected phone call for a last-minute appointment by none other than Pippa! While the salon steps up a gear for the royal arrival, Katie, the new nail technician (guest starring Enya Martin), arrives to start her first day in her new job and ruffles a few feathers!

Episode Three

F.Y.R.E (Fitness You Really Experience) festival is in full swing with personal trainer Derek McCarthy. Pippa is there to launch her newest creation ‘Pippa’s Pop Up Premium Porta Potty’, while Brooklyn 2 is being filmed nearby. Saoirse is having a ‘mare with her country accent, until the arrival of the country accent King Dáithí Ó Sé.

Episode Four

Dáithí taste tests Roz Purcell’s vegan buffalo cauliflower “wings” live from the Today Show studio, while Maura tries to keep Suzanne Jackson’s fashion item from going off the rails!

Episode Five

A documentary film crew follows Dublin’s top blogger agency #Repped, as the agency boss (guest starring Lorraine Keane) attempts to monetise Amy’s social media. Meanwhile, a new mommy blogger visits the agency hoping to get on the books but instead is treated to a crash course in #influencing by Queen Pippa.

Episode Six

On the final date of her Irish tour, former The Saturdays star turned country singer, Úna Healy, allows a documentary crew to follow her while her new Manager from Memphis is working hard on a new record deal.

She launched her pilot show The Doireann Project on the RTÉ Player and season two of The Doireann Project was aired on both RTÉ Two and RTÉ Player. Doireann also hosted The Podge and Rodge Show on RTÉ Two and most recently, launched her podcast called ‘The Laughs of Your Life’.
