Episode 16 – Natterjack Toad
We only have one type of toad in Ireland, it’s very rare, and it lives only in the sand dunes of Kerry and Wexford! It’s called the Natterjack toad. Tiny baby toadlets are emerging from their breeding ponds during June and July, crawling out in search of insects to eat. Discover the world of our Natterjack toads in this week’s Nature File.
