Less than a week after Sienna, the Californian sea lion, gave birth to a beautiful pup at the Sealion Cove, two of the other females in the group prepare to give birth to pups of their own.
Asian bull elephant, Upali, has fathered seven calves in the seven years he has lived at Dublin Zoo but the time has come for him to move on to a new herd in another zoo. But transporting a 5-tonne animal is no easy task, and it will require lots of training and careful preparation from the whole team in the run up to his big move.
And at the Gorilla Rainforest zookeepers are concerned when Lena, the western lowland gorilla, seems to have lost her appetite.
