In this summer series, Rónán Mac Aodha Bhuí interviews Ulster musicians, and we hear their musical choices.  Today on the programme, Rónán is joined by Belfast flute player Marcas Ó Murchú, now long time resident of Derry. Marcas is a talented flute player and teacher of thirty years standing. He has taught at many of the music schools throughout the country and internationally including Ulster University and The Willie Clancy school. His work to preserve traditions or Ireland was recognised when he was awarded the title Ard Ollamh, chief Irish Bard, at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in 2013.
