Beidh Bláthnaid ag craoladh beo ó stiúideo Dhoirí Beaga ar maidin, agus beidh an fhoireann díreach fillte ó bheith amuigh ag siúl i gcnoic agus i ngleanntaí Thír Chonaill ar Shlí Cholmcille ar an Aoine.

Tá cuireadh oscailte don phobal a bheith ina gcuideachta do thuras treoraithe ar an Aoine 10 Bealtaine, agus beidh sé á thaifead don chlár.  Beidh siad ag teacht le chéile ag an gcarrchlós i bPáirc Náisiúnta Ghleann Bheatha ag 2 pm, agus beidh an staraí Brian Lacey ansin le cuntas a thabhairt dóibh ar shaol Cholmcille agus ar stair na hoilithreachta.  Rachaidh an tsiúlóid thar an sliabh isteach go Gartán, tríd Ráth Cnó mar ar rugadh an naomh, agus Leac na Cumha, go dtí Ionad Oidhreachta Cholmcille.

Chomh maith leis sin, beidh Bláthnaid amuigh ar an bhfeirm le Bríd Ní Ící i rith na seachtaine, agus cloisfidh muid mar a d’éirigh léi ar Bhláthnaid Libh maidin inniu.

Bláthnaid will be broadcasting live from RTÉ RnaG Doirí Beaga studios in northwest Donegal this morning.  The programme team will be just back from walking the glens and hills of Donegal on Slí Cholmcille on Friday, and we’ll hear how they got on.

The public is invited to join them for this guided walk, with historian Brian Lacey, gathering at the carpark in Glenveagh National Park at 2 pm on Friday 10 May.  The walk will take them up over the hill, to Gartán, through Ráth Cnó, where St Colmcille was born, to Leac na Cumha and on to the Colmcille Heritage Centre.

Bláthnaid will also be pulling on her wellies to get out on the farm with Bríd Ní Ící during the week, and we’ll hear all about that on the programme today too.
