WEATHER LIVE is a factual entertainment show on RTÉ One exploring Ireland’s favourite obsession – the weather!
Kathryn Thomas will once again be examining the Irish weather and finding out why we’re so fascinated by it. She will be hosting these live shows from the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin as we welcome summer. Joining her will be the show’s very own science boffin, Phil Smyth, doing some practical experiments to explain the science behind weather, as well as familiar faces from Met Éireann.
Find out what makes the Irish weather so unique whilst discovering the beautiful Botanic Gardens at spring time. From the Beast from the East to Ireland’s latest heatwaves, the show will sort fact from fiction and uncover how weather affects our everyday lives.
TUESDAY 30th APRIL
Henry Shefflin – the most decorated hurler of all time – will be in the Botanics studio to talk about how weather conditions have impacted his sporting career. Hear his view on the particular challenges Croke Park’s micro-climate entails.
