Episode 302 “The One Inspired by Roy Cohn”
SYNOPSIS
Maia’s new boisterous co-council, Roland Blum, enters the courtroom and blatantly interrupts Maia’s opening statements. Called to the judge’s podium, he argues that his client is at a disservice by being tried jointly with Maia’s client. When the judge dismisses the argument, Roland gives his own opening statements; he presents an envelope with who he believes is the person to blame, and states he will only open it when the time comes.
The partners interview an acquaintance of Julius,’ Jeffrey, for a position at the firm in matrimonial law. Lucca questions why a majority of his clients were male in his experience in matrimonial litigation since 60% of their divorce clients are female. Jeffrey states that he works just as well with women.
