Episode 6 – Eels
European Eels begin life as tiny hatchlings in the Sargasso Sea, near the Caribbean. They traverse the Atlantic with the Gulf stream, eventually swimming up in to Irish Rivers, before turning around and travelling all the way back to the Sargasso sea to spawn, albeit many years later. Discover the incredible adventures of the European Eel in this week’s Nature File.
