French music by women composers active during the Belle Époque – in particular, Mélanie Bonis and Cécile Chaminade as performed by Una Hunt, piano, Gillian Williams, violin, and Miriam Kaczor, flute in their recent concert as part of the Female Composer Series in the NCH, Aedín’s featured artist is violinist James Ehnes and we’ll hear his recordings of Dvorak, Bernstein and Elgar.
