Green Book – Episode 5
Rescued by Brigitte Winklemann, Martin arrives back on European soil and is briefly swept up in a romantic fantasy in Paris, where Brigitte is member of an international counter-terrorism unit. She keeps Martin trapped in her Paris apartment, out of the hands of competing agencies, all of whom would love to get their hands on the mysterious East German superspy, code name: “Kolibri” or Hummingbird.
Brigitte tries to convince Martin to work as a double agent for the BND but he wants to walk away from it all. Then a bomb goes off in West Berlin and Martin realizes there is no way out of the spy game.
Tina’s application to leave East Germany is denied. Tina becomes paranoid and is convinced her family must to flee East Berlin as soon as possible.
American diplomat Hector Valdez arrives at his first positing to the US Embassy to East Berlin, and is tipped off to an imminent terrorist plot in West Berlin.
Alex and Tim go dancing in a club in West Berlin, the target of the Libyan terrorist plot.
