In the final episode of this new series, financial planner Eoin Mcgee meets 40-year-old vet Marina and her husband, 44 year old global strategist Brian in Duleek.

They are keen to make sure they have enough money put by to send their children to college, and would love to retire before they’re 60.

After assessing their finances, Eoin realises that the couple are prioritising paying off family loans and their mortagages, and suggests that these priorities need to shift. Couples don’t always see eye to eye when it comes to finances, and Eoin focuses on balancing their goals and expectations. He reveals that if they carry on managing their money as they have done to date, they will be a lot older than 60 when they’re financially secure enough to retire. He sets to work with a plan as to how the couple can achieve their goal of retiring before they’re 60 – while managing to enjoy life as they do it.

Over the course of a couple of months, we follow as Brian and Marina try to implement the plan set out by Eoin – and see the ups and downs as they try their best to follow his rules. Will they manage to follow Eoin’s instructions and reach their dream of achieving financial independence before they hit 60? And what will they learn in the process?
