For the first time children’s audiences have their very own place at the Dancing With The Stars party. RTÉjr Goes Dancing With The Stars is a weekly entertainment show with presenters Darcy (11) and Darragh (13) bringing all the behind the scenes news and fun to young families on RTÉjr television. It’s a sparkling playground for this young presenting team to make mischief! They have the perfect kids-eye-view of the show with access to explore all of the angles younger viewers might be curious about: catch-ups with dancers, judges and presenters, dip into captain sparkle’s workshop, having a go at make-up & hair – just whatever catches their eye. There’s nowhere and nobody out of bounds to Darcy & Darragh.

In the first episode this Thursday at 6pm on RTÉjr – Just how well do the Templeogue-Synge Street juniors think GAA legend Denis Bastick will fare in the competition and how well can he kick for goal in dancing shoes; Darcy and Darragh are unfazed by stern and slightly scary judge Brian Redmond as they coax him to teach them to ‘jive’ and the pair hook up with dancing duo Darren and Karen to see how their preparations are coming along.

All of that plus reporting from the hustle and bustle of first show nerves backstage.

Join Darcy and Darragh for the perfect sparkly antidote to the ‘bad new’ at 6o’clock.
