Episode 8
The Final – Croke Park
Facing the families are a series of events unlike anything every undertaken on Ireland’s Fittest Family. There will be Sheer Scale from the Cusack Stand, Hanging Tough as you’ve never seen it before and a final epic race along the iconic pitch, which finishes with ramps at Hill 16.
There will be nothing easy or straightforward about what the finalist face in the cathedral of Irish sport. Their coaches will be by their sides every step of the way and no one knows better then them how special a venue Croke Park is.
Donncha O’Callaghan will guide the Lawlors from Limerick through the big day. He wants them to win more then anything and he knows that it will bring him his second title in two years.
Davy Fitzgerald loves nothing more then finals day in this stadium. He will be instilling the will to win and have victory on this mind for the McDonalds from Laois.
Anna Geary comes into the final with two families; the Finnegan Hogans from Cork and the Coneys from Tyrone. With twice the chance to win she will be driven and giving everything to both her families.
20 families began the competition and now only four remain. The Lawlors, McDonalds, Finnegan Hogans and Coneys are all here to win but only one will be Ireland’s Fittest Family 2018.
