Second Semi Final – Hell & Back
Davy Fitzgerald knows this is a pressure day for him and his family the McDonalds from Laois. They are Davy’s last chance to stay in the competition and make it to the Final.
Last week Donncha O’Callaghan and Anna Geary got one family each in to the final. This week they will be doing everything they can to get a second family to Croke Park. Anna will give it her all to coaching the Finnegan Hogans from Cork and Donncha will be the same with his family the Lallys from Dublin.
The families again take on the Swamp Trek and Devils Mud Run in Hell & Back. This week injuries plague the families as there is a dislocated shoulder and twisted ankle to contend with. All of the injuries put the families under additional pressure and see the competition changing.
After the first two challenges one family goes straight to the final and the other two must compete again in the longest and hardest Eliminator of the series.
At the end of today, the line up for The Final will be complete. The four incredible families who have made it through all the stages of the competition will be on the road to Croke Park. Here they will face brand new, extreme, never seen before challenges and one of them will be crowned the champions for 2018.
